High volume users can combine the speed and accuracy of an NCS optical mark reader with our Windows software. There are two ways to do this. Both options work with special machine-readable answer sheets available only from us. Call for pricing on these machine-readable answer sheets.

SigmaSoft Scanning Utility

The SigmaSoft Scanning Utility for Windows allows you to use your NCS Sentry 3000 or compatible optical mark scanner to process large volumes of respondent data easily and accurately. Data is read from the special machine-readable answer sheets and transferred directly to our Windows software. This utility is available only to registered users of our Windows software. The utility sells for $39.00. Please note, that the utility does not score the data.

NCS Scantools

You can also use NCS Scantools scanning software with your scanner. Data scanned using this software is stored in ASCII text files, which can be imported by our Windows software. We provide Scantools application files for each of the special machine-readable answer sheets used by our tests. These application files are provided free of charge and without warranty of any kind.
